Old rural house with spacious yard and quiet location situated in the outskirts of a big village 25 km away from ski and spa resort in Bulgaria. The house has two floors. The ground level consists of two rooms which served as storage room and basement. Over the short external staircase once can go to the second floor where corridor connects three more rooms – big living room, kitchen and bedroom. There is also a terrace here that provides nice views towards the neighboring area as well as at the distant mountain range. The house comes with a very big garden which has a slight slope in its far end. From inside the plot of land one can get even better undisturbed view of the surrounding area which is a mixture of meadows, hills, fields and distant mountains. Some of the yard is overgrown and needs clearing but most of it is in good condition and is clean. The house had been empty for more than five years now and requires renovation in order to be brought to modern day living standards. The property is located in the outskirts of the village. The area around is very quiet as there are just a couple of people living in vicinity. At the same time the center of the village is just about 5 minutes away by car from here. The area around is very picturesque. One can practice hunting, photography, cycling, tracking, etc. There is a big dam about 15 km away from here and two rivers within 10 km distance, so those who like to go fishing will not be disappointed too. The village is situated within 25 km distance from ski resort area, big city and spa resort town. The city of Montana is the regional capital for the area and is about 20 km away from the property. In the city one can find everything required for modern day living such as various shops and stores, construction material and service supply, big stores for electrical appliances, clothing, shoes, houseware, furniture, tools, etc. Montana also provides many primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, general hospital, dental care practices, theater, cinema, sports grounds, bus station and train station, service stations, gas stations, etc. If you don`t want to travel to the city, in the village you can find a few grocery stores which will provide you with all the small necessary bits and pieces for daily living. Once a week there is also a market here where you can find houseware and tools at good prices. The village also has primary school, kindergarten, mayor`s office (providing certain amount of administrative services), library, post office, local chapel, bars, coffee shops, etc. The people here are good and warm welcoming. There are already a few properties purchased by foreigners and some of them live here all year round while others use their houses as holiday homes. The distance to Sofia International Airport is about 120 km so depending on the traffic it takes about 80-90 minutes to reach the house.
